Description

This specialist cleaner was designed to restore very old or badly stained tiles to their original condition before any further treatment. It removes grease, wax, oil, polishes, varnish, paint tar, ground in dirt and old solvent sealer that have built up on the surface over time. It rejuvenates the colour and texture of the tiles and any tile treated will look cleaner and brighter.

 

Properties

This product should be looked upon as a last resort treatment. One will find that less harsh products from the SMP Range will more than lightly be suffice to remove any soiling from most surfaces. However SMP Heavy Duty Tile Cleaner when used will prove very effective. Caution should be taken whilst using this product as it is Flammable and also has quite a potent odour. As this product is very volatile only a small area at a time should be treated with the residue being removed as soon as possible.

 

Directions for use

Apply directly to the surface to be treated and allow to stand for 5 minutes. Agitate the surface with a stiff brush and remove the residue as soon as possible as it will solidify back to its untreated state very quickly. This process may have to be repeated in some cases. When you are confident that the floor is clean give it a final rinse over with clean water to remove any small residues that may still be prevalent. Allow the surface to dry thoroughly before any further treatments are applied to the it.

 

Maintenance

To keep the floor looking like new for longer use only SMP. Ceramic Tile Cleaner or other suitable product from the SMP. Maintenance range as these will clean without leaving build ups on the floor like some other household cleaners which in turn can become dull and slippery.

 

Coverage

1 Litre will clean approximately 10 - 15 sq.metres of tiles
